Senior Network Engineer, ITS
Job Responsibilities:

Network Technician
Job Description:
The Network Operations (North) organization is responsible for installing, testing and maintaining all NTLO network/switch equipment and circuits/facilities, performing preventive maintenance on network/switch equipment, coordinating/resolving all reported troubles/outages and providing technical assistance to the Repair Control Center (RCC), Engineering, Network Operations Center (NOC) and Service and Cable Technicians.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to the Network Operations Center (NOC), Service Centers and Wireless Technicians.
- Coordinate to resolution all network troubles/outages including Telco, Network, CLEC, ValleyNet and Internet and make independent decisions on actions towards clearing these troubles/outages, including direction of resources throughout the company.
- Coordinate network activity related to cutover, upgrade and installation of circuit/facility activities to insure that schedules are appropriately planned to avoid customer service outages and timely installations.
- Maintain records, including circuit databases and diagrams, manuals, procedures and specifications on equipment and systems.
- Install new equipment per manufacturer’s specifications such as: fiber equipment, carrier/channel bank, multiplexers, repeating equipment, base unit additions/remote unit additions, VoiceMail and CLEC.
- Conduct preventative maintenance as designated on emergency generators, batteries, vehicles, equipment, and handheld tools and test equipment.
Skills & Essential Elements:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the local RF Teams
- Monitor system performance metrics daily to identify discrepancies, trend performance, and identify anomalies
